He begins his pictorial activity of a self-taught way elaborating his first works at the age of seven. Later it frequents for two years classes of Specialization in Realistic Painting, realizing in addition several courses. He is Licensed in History of the Art by the Autonoma University of Madrid and teacher of secondary by the Complutense University.

​• Artistic critique

                                                                                         "Landscape Like Select Place"

It's knows that the landscape is a state of mind and in case of Tomás Santos's pictures it is estimated: first, a look commits an outrage against the place; later, an identification with the space that it endures and, finally, an elegant and sluggish execution to interpret with the pigment the land, the vegetation, the water, the way, the horizon and the skylight.
